Marty Bragg brings a diverse and dynamic background to the board of Solid Roots. Her career has spanned early childhood education, historical research, and cultural preservation. For over twenty years, she served as the Director of Nature and Nurture, an early childhood education business she founded, where she developed innovative approaches to nurturing young minds and fostering a love of learning.

Beyond education, Marty is a recognized expert in the political assassinations of the 1960s. She played a key role in founding the Coalition on Political Assassinations, a nationwide organization that united academics, forensic experts, and historians dedicated to uncovering the truth and advocating for transparency in government.

Marty’s passion for history and storytelling extends to the arts and culture sector. She is the co-founder and acting director of the Minneapolis Sound Museum (MSM), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the rich legacy of the musicians and artists who shaped the iconic Minneapolis Sound. Under her leadership, MSM recently unveiled its first curated display through a partnership with Hennepin Arts, marking a significant milestone in the museum's journey.

Additionally, Marty directs Tales From The Northside, an annual event held at the Capri Theater that showcases stories and performances reflecting the vibrant history and culture of North Minneapolis. Her work consistently highlights her commitment to community, education, and storytelling across multiple platforms.
