“A people without knowledge of their past history, origin, and culture is like a tree without roots.”
— Marcus Garvey, Pan-African Activist, Journalist and Entrepreneur
A message from the Founder
Looking up to the sky, I seek guidance and clarity from The Most High God to bring my life full circle. Starting Solid Roots is a significant milestone for me as I firmly plant my feet on the ground and watch my vision come to fruition. My entrepreneurial journey began more than 25 years ago, and every endeavor was rooted in helping others. My vast experience in running businesses and organizations has equipped me with valuable knowledge, but I was called to a higher purpose - to establish Solid Roots.
My life has had its share of triumphs and challenges. However, I would be remiss if I did not mention the abundance of blessings that I have enjoyed. My family has been rooted in the state of Minnesota for over a century, and I hold dear the values that were instilled in me. Gratefully, my passion for helping people is a part of the values that my humble parents taught me. I am a person with a strong sense of self-awareness, and my love and loyalty go a long way. With every genuine interaction, I try to plant at least a little seed of happiness with everyone.
It is my pleasure to introduce myself as Lori James, the Founder and President of Solid Roots.
